How does this all work, exactly?
Good question! This is fundamentally a subscription: You’re subscribing to the Sunset Box, a quarterly delivery of neat items from the West (and beyond), all curated by our magazine editors, all chosen to make your life fuller, happier, and more interesting. The theme of the boxes changes every quarter, and we generally don’t reveal the contents of each box, because we enjoy surprises (and hope you do, too). You can pay each quarter, or you can pre-pay for a year at a time—it’s your call, although you’ll save some money by choosing Annual. Either way, your subscription remains active until you decide to cancel it or the world runs out of historical curios.
Where is my order?
All in-stock, non-preorders will be filled within 10 business days of being placed (not including weekends or holidays).
Shipments are made via trackable service. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order is headed your way.

What is a pre-order?
We ship new editions of The Sunset Box four times a year, so a pre-order is any order made in advance of those scheduled shipments. (A non-pre-order, by contrast, would be an order for the most recently shipped box.)
When will my pre-order ship?
We ship pre-orders four times a year—November/December, February/March, May/June, and August/September. You’ll get an email when the box is on its way!
