How does this all work, exactly?

Good question! This is fundamentally a subscription: You’re subscribing to the Sunset Box, a quarterly delivery of neat items from the West (and beyond), all curated by our magazine editors, all chosen to make your life fuller, happier, and more interesting. The theme of the boxes changes every quarter.

What can I expect in a box?

A lot! Previous boxes have included everything from hori-hori garden knives and copper tumblers to a handsome compost container and a comfy throw blanket. We're always seeking out cool new products to include!

Is this a bargain?

Definitely! The cost for a box is far below what you'd pay for these items at retail.

Where is my order?

All in-stock, non-preorders will be filled within 10 business days of being placed (not including weekends or holidays). Shipments are made via trackable service. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order is headed your way. Please allow 1 day for tracking information to update on your order. If you are unable to track your order, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist. Just email us at support@thesunsetbox.com.

What is a pre-order?

We ship new editions of The Sunset Box four times a year, so a pre-order is any order made in advance of those scheduled shipments. (A non-pre-order, by contrast, would be an order for the most recently shipped box.)

When does my pre-order ship?

We ship pre-orders four times a year—November/December, February/March, May/June, and August/September. You’ll get an email when the box is on its way!

What's your return policy?
